AboutThe haiku is a Japanese form of minimalist poetry in which there are only three lines to the poem. The first line must consist of 5 syllables, followed by the second line consisting of 7 syllables, then the final line consisting of 5 syllables once again. Ours can be serious or funny, and can be very relaxing to both read and write.
An example of a Hetalia haiku follows.

i think that he is outside

Our community does not have many rules, but those that we do have must be followed.
✗ Anything submitted must have a haiku within the post. After all, that is the focus of this community, be it serious or otherwise.
✗ Of course, your haiku must also be related to Hetalia.
✗ Please make sure you have followed the basic structural rules of a haiku before posting yours, and that you are somewhat comfortable with the writing style. The fun is in the simplicity!
✗ Be respectful of other members of the community. This means no flaming, no badmouthing, no mean comments about other peoples' writing. I don't think this will be a problem, but it might as well be said.
✗ Feel free to start posting whenever you'd like!
✗ Have fun!!
